Inspiring kitchens

Sometimes, you come across a kitchen that makes you want to cook all day. As I was doing some research for a client about inspiring kitchens for a remodeling project, I saved these kitchens in my favorite folder. I'm falling for the grey one, with its rescued wooden window shutters repurposed in kitchen cabinet doors, its concrete island and Tolix stools - but let's be real, I'd take any of these gorgeous kitchens. How 'bout you? Which one of these kitchens steals your heart?

  2. I can't quit staring at those reclaimed shutter doors, and I've always wanted concrete counters - can you imagine kneading dough or rolling out cookie dough at Christmas? The first one has my vote.

  6. Wow! =) I’m really amazed by the first kitchen…
How the colour grey can give such warmth to a room, how the reclaimed wood is bringing life in an otherwise smooth environment, and also how “clean” the kitchen seems…
I must admit, if I had a kitchen like that, I would probably not want to cook at all – I would just stare at it and admire it all day long, treat it like my baby and definitely brag about it to others! =)

  10. The first one is a little too cold for me. I like a bit of warmth in my kitchen and I cannot imagine the colors I cook with looking nice against the slate, but I can definitely appreciate the beauty.
